Who is running for president in 2020?
The Iowa caucuses are less than a year away and the slate of 2020 presidential candidates remains crowded – with senators and House members, not to mention a young mayor, an author, an entrepreneur and a former vice president.
Even with a few candidates dropping out, others have jumped in, and the field now stands at 21 Democrats and three Republicans, including President Donald Trump.
But we still have a long way to go until the general election on Nov. 3, 2020, when voters will determine who will hold the Oval Office for the next four years.
In the meantime, here’s a breakdown of the people who have officially announced their candidacies.
