What’s on TV Sunday: ‘CMA Fest’ and ‘Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj’

CMA FEST 8 p.m. on ABC. For the second year in a row, the country music stars Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini host the Country Music Association festival together. The radio personality Bobby Bones will also be a guest host. The show features over 300 artists performing their biggest hits, including stars like Maren Morris, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood and Blake Shelton. This year’s show also features a collaboration between Tim McGraw and Luke Combs, and for the first time ever, Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus and Keith Urban will perform “Old Town Road.”

SERENGETI 8 p.m. on Discovery Channel. This six-part mini-series follows animals living in the plains of Tanzania. Narrated by Lupita Nyong’o, produced by Simon Fuller (“American Idol”) and directed and produced by John Downer, the show documents the lives of lions, zebras, baboons and cheetahs for a year and explores how they survive, face challenges and sometimes thrive in the Serengeti.

FLIP IT LIKE DISICK 10 p.m. on E! Scott Disick is stepping out of the Kardashian orbit with his own TV show. Honing in on his love for real estate, Disick has set out to flip high-end homes in Los Angeles. His projects range from a multimillion-dollar property to smaller endeavors like redoing guest rooms and studios for his celebrity friends. The season will also feature a renovation of his children’s playhouse at Kourtney Kardashian’s house.
